		<description>I do think you will encounter a handful of parents who will get ticked off (for one reason or another, with a school or staff member) and who will be unable to see the big picture, thus making them seem like selfish nutjobs, even if that is not their intent.

However, I believe that our schools and our staff need backing, support and consistency from the HUSD administration and board.  (Lack of support is the main reason for high teacher/staff turnover- in my opinion).
Of course there will be instances in which an irrate parent will need to escalate an issue he/she is having with a school to a higher power, but that is kind of why the community elects a board- a sort of "checks and balance" to ensure that everyone is following the rules- administration/teachers/staff AND students.</description>
