An end to rotating start times at HUSD?

I am hoping we can go a step further and get on a year round schedule in the district. It is too hot in the summer here to have the kids home the whole time. (Then again, it is nice to leave town on vacation in the summer)

My children have been in the district for over 5 years and we have ALWAYS had the same start/end time. We have NEVER rotated since I have been in the district. It is something that comes up each and every year. To state they are putting an end to the rotating start times is confusing since this is something that has remained the same for quite some time.
I would, very much, welcome a year round schedule as well though. It is nice that Chandler has an additional week for fall and spring. It would be great to have time off when it is cooler here to spend outdoors, instead of the longer summer with the heat to deal with.
